The door applies to the watertight gateways of engine room below waterline of ship and meets the regulations for the classification and construction of sea-going steel ships in 1987.

The door can be operated manually on both sides of the engine room, and hydraulic pipes will be laid for manual hydraulic operation. There is also the operation handle installed on upper deck.
