Hydraulic Double Gypsy Anchor Windlass
Hydraulic Double Gypsy Anchor Windlass is a device installed on a ship consisting of two sprockets, used for lifting and releasing anchors. It controls different clutch positions by pulling the handle of the embedded clutch, causing the drive shaft to drive the anchor sprocket to rotate to achieve the lifting and landing of the anchor.
According to the “Rules for the Classification of Steel Seagoing Ships”, the anchor windlass should be able to pull an anchor from a water depth of 82.5 meters (three anchor chains entering the water) to a depth of 27.5 meters (one anchor chain entering the water) at an average speed of not less than 9m/min. The rated tensile force (N) of the anchor machine should not be less than 41.68d2 (anchor chain direct d ≥ 25mm), or not less than 35.8d2 (d<25mm), with d in millimeters.
