Anchor mooring winch
The anchor mooring winch is an anchor mooring machinery composed of a drum and an anchor chain wheel. Usually, the anchor mooring winch is installed at the bow of the ship, which can be used as a winch for mooring or as a windlass for anchoring. Some anchor and mooring winches are also equipped with warping heads for retracting and releasing the cables in the middle of the ship. The winch consists of a drum and the rope is wound. It is designed to provide a strong and secure grip on the anchor line, allowing for controlled lowering and raising of the anchor.
